Flurixo

About Flurixo

An independent studio for Malaysian stories

Flurixo began as a weekend recording project in a spare room and grew into a small studio dedicated to audio and written storytelling from Malaysia.

Our story

Built one episode at a time, from Kuala Lumpur

Flurixo started with a single microphone and a handful of interviews recorded after work hours. What began as a personal project slowly turned into a dedicated studio once listeners started asking for more.

Today we produce a rotating slate of narrative and interview series, each paired with a written companion article. Every release still goes through the same careful process we used from day one: research, record, edit, and review before anything reaches an audience.

What we value

The principles behind every release

Craft over speed

We would rather release one well-edited episode a week than rush out something unfinished.

Rooted in Malaysia

Every series starts from a local angle, even when the story ends up resonating far beyond our borders.

Open to new voices

Guests and contributors come from outside our usual network as often as they come from within it.
